Patrol Division

The uniformed Patrol Division is responsible for emergency and non-emergency response to calls for service within the City of Eau Claire. The city is comprised of three patrol districts: North, West and South.

  • 10.5 Hour Shifts

  • Shifts are bid for yearly based on seniority

  • Day Shift: 0630-1700

  • Afternoon Shift: 1030-2100

  • PM Overlap Shift: 1630-0300

  • Midnight Shift: 2045-0715

  • 4 Days on, 4 Days off rotating schedule

Investigations & Professional Standards Division

The Investigations and Professional Standards Division consists of investigators and community outreach. These shifts are 8 hours Monday through Friday. These are 5-year assignments.​​
